I appreciate the kind words! And thank you, Sebastian, for entrusting your scenario with The Hearth, I'm excited to see folks play it at their Spire tables.

pink text on green is so hard to read!  Yikes!

I appreciate the feedback, and I have updated it to a higher contrast colour.

Wanted to drop a comment here in addition to leaving a review (mostly because the word limit didn't capture my full thoughts).

I've been eagerly awaiting the release of this project and it delivers on all the elements I'd want to see in a magazine like this! As Brent states in their letter from the editor, "While game books told you a lot about the games themselves, magazines told you more about the hobby and the folks who took part."

I think that this magazine hits the ground running by delivering us a reflection of the modern gaming scene and its ability to foster and strengthen disparate groups of people into one unifying banner of "Tabletop Gamer". From reflections on personal experiences to using the medium as a tool for social change, Hearth truly deserves the mantle as a place for weary travelers to reflect and rest, much like the fiery hearths of old.

As with any debut production, there are a few minor design elements that can be tightened during subsequent releases (alignment issues and layout overlap as two very minor examples), but they do not detract from the contents within. The playful addition of artwork and  stylish headings also do wonders to keep readers visually engaged as they read through wonderful features.

The Hearth Magazine is a great medium to showcase the amazing voices and artistic stylings of the TTRPG creators, and Brent executes on their mission of creating an informative reflection on the TTRPG community in a fun and accessible way.

Appreciate the review and the kind words, Keller! I'm really happy with what the contributors for Issue One brought to readers, it's definitely set the bar for future issues. Take care!
